Christopher Wright is one of the premier builder/remodelers working today. Founder and president of WrightWorks, LLC—he has amassed an extensive portfolio of projects located throughout the Midwest and is widely recognized as an expert on the business and craft of remodeling.

Chris started his journey in residential construction as a carpenter’s helper, at the age of 16. Since then, he has worked in nearly every trade and facet of the industry—with side trips into martial arts teaching and leadership within a Fortune 500 company. His project experience extends from inner city HUD rehabs to multi-million dollar estates.

“I count myself lucky to have been born into a family of builders and tinkerers, and to have been instilled by my father and grandfathers with an intense commitment and drive to deliver the finest service and craftsmanship I can to my clients. Whether it’s a kitchen, bath, room addition or whole house renovation--we do 90 percent of the finish work on our projects in-house. It’s the way I’ve always done things, and it’s helped establish us among the finest remodeling companies in the country.”

More than just a project manager, Chris is also a well renowned artisan and craftsman—having personally installed or built much of the tile, woodwork, cabinetry and fixtures seen in the WrightWorks portfolio. It’s that hands-on approach to building that’s grown WrightWorks from a one-man operation into one of the premier builders in Indianapolis completely on the basis of referrals from past clients and regular collaborations with some of the most talented architectural and interior designers in the country—including numerous projects with Matt Harris, of MWHarris LLC and a recent project for the Rachael Ray Show with Kristan Cunningham, of HGTVs Design on a Dime. 

“I was fortunate to learn early in my career how much of an impact professional design can have on the quality of our finished projects. It’s the difference between a client being ‘satisfied’ with your work and being completely and totally in love with it. I want the things we build to be functionally and aesthetically beautiful. While we do have our own in-house design services, we regularly partner with a number of local showrooms and design firms. As each project presents its own challenges, I work very hard for my clients and design partners to help them find just the right balance of form, function, and budget.”
