ATTENTION CONTRACTORS & TRADES PEOPLE
Dear Contractor,
I am always interested in making new contacts with skilled trades people and others who do historic and high end residential remodeling. Thanks for visiting the site and be sure to drop me a note of introduction before you go--if nothing else we can at least swap stories from time to time! In addition, I occasionally hold seminars and workshops for Remodeling professionals and have a number of audio and book programs available. If you think these might be of benefit to you, drop me a line and I'll send you an information packet.
LOOKING FOR HIGH END PROJECTS TO WORK ON?
If you're a skilled trades person looking for projects to work on in the Indianapolis and surrounding areas, either as a subcontractor or a full time member of our team, then I'd be very interested in talking with you. In order to continue our growth as a company, we're seeking individuals and companies to assist us in all phases of residential remodeling. From demolition & rough-in to the final punch list, we strive to be careful each and every step of the way to ensure a quality finished product and a happy, satisfied customer. As such, I am very appreciative and very loyal to those who pay attention to detail and stand by their work. While no one is perfect--including me--I believe it's how you handle the problems that inevitably come up that earns you the trust and loyalty of those you work for.
WHAT'S IN A NAME
You're only as good as your reputation, the saying goes--and I take mine very seriously. As a result, most of the projects you see in my portfolio were contracted by referral. By working for us and with us, you'll be adding to your own reputation and network within the many historic and high end neighborhoods we work in. You'll also have the satisfaction of working on projects that are meant to last not just until the warranty expires, but for many years to come--a benefit of using quality materials and good design.
THE GOOD, THE BAD, & THE LAZY
Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, can relate at least one horror story about a contractor--either from first hand knowledge or a story passed to them by someone close. Unfortunately, there's a good reason for the somewhat checkered reputation our industry has among homeowners. The few bad apples in the bunch put us all in a bad light and make the task of earning our clients' trust all the more difficult. Among them, of course, are those who flat out lie, cheat and steal. But there are also a great many more who care little for the end result of their labor beyond receiving the last draw check.
There is a parable I think that sums this up quite succinctly: A man passing by a construction site stopped and asked one of the tradesmen what he was doing. The worker replied gruffly, "I’m laying bricks, can’t you see that?" The man watched awhile longer and then asked another worker what he was doing. "Oh, just earning a living," he replied. A third time the man asked a worker and the response was much different--with pride he replied, "I’m building a cathedral."
GIVE ME A CALL
If you're interested in either performing work as a subcontractor or in becoming a member of the WrightWorks team, please give me a call. I'd be happy to sit down with you and see how a working relationship might be of benefit to us both.
Very truly yours,
