Susan and I Were Impressed from Their Initial Involvement

Posted by Christopher Wright, CR Categories: References and Reviews

“Susan and I were impressed from their initial involvement in the planning stage of our room addition and conversion of an existing space into a bathroom. Chris took the time to view our initial plans, listen to our goals for the project, and our budget before he shared any thoughts of his own. Chris’ suggestions were not intended to put his stamp on the project for the sake of making his mark, but rather served to enhance what we wanted to accomplish. Chris’ estimate for the budget and timeline were accurate and we appreciated his candor regarding the unknowns of opening up walls on a 100 year old house.”

To Whom It May Concern,

Chris and WrightWorks recently completed a project transforming our four bedroom, 1 full bath house in Butler-Tarkington into a four bedroom, 2 full bath house including a master suite. From start to finish it was a pleasure to work with Chris and his crew and we are extremely pleased with the results.

Susan and I were impressed from their initial involvement in the planning stage of our room addition and conversion of an existing space into a bathroom. Chris took the time to view our initial plans, listen to our goals for the project, and our budget before he shared any thoughts of his own. Chris’ suggestions were not intended to put his stamp on the project for the sake of making his mark, but rather served to enhance what we wanted to accomplish. Chris’ estimate for the budget and timeline were accurate and we appreciated his candor regarding the unknowns of opening up walls on a 100 year old house.

Without exception the workers who participated on our project were professional, polite, and clearly very dedicated to their work product. While others participated in the work, Eric, Aaron, and John need to be singled out for specific praise as they spent the most time at our house. They never hesitated to answer our questions, and our one year old daughter would always get excited to look out her window and waive her plastic hammer when she saw them working.

It is clear that Chris has developed a core of excellent craftsmen whose goal is to complete the work to a level that they are proud of, and not just to finish the task at hand. While the overall job was done in a similar manner, I will cite one specific example: The cedar shingles delivered by the supplier were all slightly out of square. Instead of making them work as delivered, Chris’ guys trimmed each shingle by hand before installing them on our house.

The result of Chris’ work is that the new section blends seamlessly with the existing aesthetics of the house and will provide us the space to stay in our house for years to come. Perhaps the best compliment I can provide is that Susan and I do not hesitate to suggest WrightWorks to family and friends and look forward to working with Chris again in the future.

Regards,
Andrew A.
